A practical and collaborative leader for Trustee

I have spent my career helping educational institutions become more inclusive, accountable, and responsive to the people they serve. My professional experience includes people leadership, teaching, research, policy development, and equity education, with an emphasis on building collaborative and high-performing teams.

As Trustee, I will focus on the work that matters most to members of this community: protecting student supports, strengthening trust, improving transparency, listening to community concerns, and making evidence-informed decisions that serve all students across Limestone District School Board.

As the parent of two children in the Limestone District elementary school system, I understand firsthand the importance of an education system that supports all learners. Every child deserves to feel a sense of belonging, be valued for who they are, and have the opportunity to achieve their own definition of success. I care deeply about the future of public education, not only for my own children, but for all students across our school board.

Local issues

What the community is talking about

Use the buttons to explore the educational priorities I am hearing from caregivers, students, educators, support staff, and community partners.

Support

Every student deserves the right support at the right time.

Caregivers need confidence that students with disabilities, learning differences, mental health needs, and complex circumstances are seen and supported.

My plan

A trusted approach built for the moment

My approach is intentional and practical: listen locally, protect student supports, strengthen transparency, use evidence, and build a sense of belonging for every student.

Listen locally

Listen to caregivers, students, educators, support staff, and community partners to inform actions and decisions.

Protect student supports

Make special education, mental health, accessibility, and inclusion visible in budget and policy conversations.

Strengthen transparency

Translate board decisions into clear updates so caregivers know what was decided, why it matters, and what comes next.

Use evidence

Bring research, data, lived experience, and community feedback together to inform decision making processes.

Build belonging

Support school climates where every student  can feel respected, safe, represented, and able to participate.
